The Joe Show

LiveGaelic.com are delighted that Meath football star Joe Sheridan has chosen to have us host his blog. Joe is one of the most intense and commited footballers in the country and has been a talisman both for his club Seneschalstown and for the Meath Senior Inter-county team in recent years. This is Joe’s first foray into media and we’re very happy to work with him and promote his talents.

GAA fans up and down the country will know Joe well and will hopefully be very interested in what he has to say, while those of you less familiar with him might recall his commonly talked about late goal against Louth in 2010 that gave Meath the victory.

Joe has had plenty of success in his career, and was influential in getting Meath to the All-Ireland Minor Football Final in 2002, as well as winning the Meath County Championship with Senechalstown in 2007 and 2009, and winning the National League Division 2 with Meath in 2010.

Meath fans were delighted when Joe returned from America and re-joined the team just a few weeks after emigrating and he’s given the Meath team a shot in the arm that has seen them play with renewed vigour. We here at LiveGaelic.com are also very pleased that Joe has come back and has chosen our site to share his thoughts on. We have no doubt that his blog will provide plenty of insight and talking points as the months go by, and maybe even some controversy too!

He has promised to pull no punches and is relishing the opportunity to communicate what’s on his mind with fans and critics alike. He’ll be updating the blog regularly so be sure to check this page every time you visit us. He also tweets under the handle ‘@squarecut84‘ so be sure to follow him there too.
