WEXFORD 3-25 LAOIS 1-17 (Sunday, 28th May – Leinster Senior Championship)

Even with manager Davy Fitzgerald sitting in the O’Moore Park stand, Wexford booked a Leinster semi-final meeting with Kilkenny on June 10th. Harry Kehoe got an early Slaneysiders goal after they trailed 0-3 to 0-0 but Wexford went in at half-time with a 1-11 to 0-9 lead.

Aidan Nolan and Jack Guiney got second half majors with Conor McDonald contributing nine points. Pat Purcell got a late Laois major as they also had Charles Dwyer and Willie Dunphy sent-off near the finish.

OFFALY 4-15 WESTMEATH 1-20 (Saturday, 27th May – Leinster Senior Championship)

A dramatic finish in Mullingar saw Offaly secure a Leinster semi-final with Galway on June 18th. Killian Doyle looked to have saved the tie with his fierce strike for Westmeath’s goal levelling at 1-20 to 3-14.

But an attempted clearance was flicked by Shane Dooley for Offaly’s fourth major and his hat-trick. Dooley got the first as the Faithful County trailed 0-12 to 1-4 at half-time with Alan Devine top scoring for Westmeath. Emmet Nolan and Dooley added green flags before the finish.

GALWAY 2-28 DUBLIN 1-17 (Sunday, 28th May – Leinster Senior Championship)
