CLARE 1-13 LIMERICK 1-12 (Sunday, 28th May – Munster Senior Championship)

Limerick substitute Josh Ryan nearly saved Limerick’s blushes in Ennis when his late goal reduced arrears to one point. Clare led 1-8 to 0-6 at half-time after Eoin Cleary’s ninth minute major and with David Tubridy and Keelan Sexton also scoring, they led by four.

Ryan got the green flag following an intercepted kick out and they got a chance to force a replay only for Sean McSweeney’s late effort drifting wide. Clare will meet Kerry on June 11th.

CORK 1-12 WATERFORD 1-11 (Saturday, 27th May – Munster Senior Championship)

Waterford were within moments of the millennium’s biggest shock coming up one short against Cork in Dungarvan. After going down to 14 men when Alan O’Connor was sent-off, the Rebels needed late points from Colm O’Neill and Paul Kerrigan.

Cork led 1-4 to 0-4 at half-time thanks to Kerrigan’s goal but a Gavin Crotty three-pointer turned it back Waterford’s way. Donie Breathnach kicked six for the Deise but they missed a first win over Cork since 1960.

LEITRIM 3-10 LONDON 0-16 (Sunday, 28th May – Connacht Senior Championship)

Former Tyrone player Owen Mulligan started in the Exiles return to Ruislip but it was Leitrim who booked a semi-final with Roscommon on June 18th. Ronan Kennedy came off the bench to hit two goals for Leitrim after London recovered from an interval deficit.

Darragh Rooney’s major had Leitrim 1-6 to 0-7 in front at half-time before London took the lead with six unanswered points as Liam Gavaghan top scored. But Kennedy ensured Leitrim exacted revenge from their 2013 defeat.

DERRY 0-18 TYRONE 1-14 (Sunday, 28th May – Ulster Minor Championship)

CAVAN 3-14 MONAGHAN 1-15 (Sunday, 28th May – Ulster Minor Championship)

CORK 3-21 WATERFORD 0-9 (Saturday, 27th May – Munster Junior Championship)
