Joe Sheridan Joins LiveGaelic.com

At LiveGaelic we are hoping to provide a one-stop-shop for all GAA news stories, big or small. One of the most important ways to get real insight is to connect with and have input from the names making news in the sport. It is with great excitement that we are able to announce that Meath football star Joe Sheridan is the first of many players that we’ve added to our writing line-up. Joe will be writing a regular article for us, giving you an insider’s perspective on what it’s like to be challenging for the Leinster title and the sacrifices that it takes to get there.

Having sat down with Joe and outlined to him that we are here for the long haul and aim for our site to be filled with the best articles week-in-week-out that will ensure we will be a driving force in GAA news for years to come, he saw LiveGaelic as a perfect match for him to begin offering his own opinion and analysis on GAA and all the goings-on within the game.

The Meath sharp shooter mentioned: “My life is GAA. Whether it’s training or playing. Coaching or watching games, everything I do is GAA. It’s inevitable that my personal life would bring me to a life in GAA and this is what I hope to happen. Writing articles and being able to get in touch with fans directly is something that I’m really looking forward to and I believe that LiveGaelic are ideal for allowing me this platform”.

Joe promised us that there are many different topics that are burning away at him and that he has a lot to get off his chest, and is greatly looking forward to putting pen to paper, so to speak. If he can transfer the dynamism he has on the pitch to the keyboard I don’t think there’s any doubting that this will be one of the most interesting insider columns around, and it’ll quickly turn into a must-read for all GAA fans.

With the Meath team approaching the Leinster Final we are respecting Joe’s wishes to concentrate on getting ready for what is the biggest game of the year for Meath players and fans. As soon as it’s all done and dusted at Croke Park, we’ll have Joe’s first article in the works, and you can get his feelings on things whether it’s win lose or draw for Meath. From all at the team here at LiveGaelic.com we wish you the best of luck in the Final and eagerly await your contributions to our site!

If you want to know more about Joe he tweets using the “@Squarecut84” handle. He’s picked up more than 3,500 followers and has racked up nearly 1000 tweets already, so you can be sure he has plenty to say.
