Proper Punter: Dubs, Kerry Donegal Acca Enhanced to the Max

The Proper Punter has been bringing you the best in GAA tips for several years, and we here at LiveGaelic would like to think we have helped dedicated followers to rake in a fair share of coin in that time.

This week we’re once again delighted to be able to bring you a super-enhanced bet thanks to the good people at the Betfair Sportsbook.

This weekend’s big enhanced bet is a tasty favourites treble.

With Dublin a ridiculous 1/100 with most bookies, adding them to your slip is literally not worthwhile this weekend. Against a dogged but limited Fermanagh they’re sure to win, but even at that throwing them in for the sake of a penny on the euro – would you even bother!?

Kerry are a similarly prohibitive price. 1/6 most places to overcome a Kildare side that gave Cork a right spanking just a week after Cork gave the Kingdom all they could handle is very skinny.

Donegal are the most uncertain of the three top teams playing this weekend, and while they’re under a bit of a cloud after an Ulster final defeat, the manner of that loss seems to have been lost in the noise about a repeat of 2013. Realistically, Donegal put in a massive last 20 minutes against Monaghan and should at least have drawn. If a finish like that is a sign of a team running on empty then we don’t know much about engines. Still, at 4/7 to get over Galway they’re not exactly going to make you rich.

So if you wanted to put the three big boys together to make a bit of pocket money you might think that would be the way to go. Think again. A three team accumulator featuring the Dubs, the Kingdom and the boys from the northwest will net you in the region of a paltry 4/5. Would you be bothered?

Well, good news everyone! You can get that same bet enhanced to a pretty damn tasty 5/1 with Betfair Sportsbook. That’s a bit more like it!
