This week sees the end of nine weeks of the GAA Cul Camps that I've been involved in this year. Over the nine weeks myself and some of the players from the Meath Senior and Ladies panels have been lucky enough to work with three or four thousand kids from all sorts of backgrounds, and I have to say it's been great to be involved in. It goes without saying that I'm very disappointed to be following up last week's article off the back of a second defeat in six days. Unfortunately, you just can't make as many mistakes as we made in the last few games, going behind by ten points in two games tells its own story. A lead like that is obviously hard to try and pull back, even more so having had to try and do it in the Leinster final[..]

It's a shame not to be writing my first column here at off the back of a win in the Leinster final, but the great thing about summer football is that there's always the next game to look forward to.
