Jason Quinn

I hail from Cookstown in Co. Tyrone and look forward to contributing match previews/ reports and exclusive interviews, with Club players in Tyrone/Ulster, and Intercounty Players throughout Ireland, for LiveGaelic.com. Aged 23 I decided to start some Free-lance GAA Journalism and with no previous experience it was always going to be a challenge getting recognised, but with this website I hope to gain some valuable experience as a GAA journalist, and help promote my name in trying to bring in depth, interesting articles to the public.

This website I believe, with time, will become the first stop for all GAA news throughout Ireland and indeed for people living abroad, and along with Donal O’Connor and other members of the team, I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead. I play club football with Cookstown Fr.Rocks and was a proud member of the victorious 2010 All-Ireland Intermediate Club winning squad. One day I hope to win a Senior Championship title in Tyrone, and bridge the 95 year gap, from it was last won by the club. With a great Sponsor in Dominic Crilly of SteelWeld Fabrications in Cookstown, and a Senior Panel with a lot of youth, hunger and desire on its side, we are heading in the right direction. I hope you enjoy the website and appreciate it will take time to build up to the expectations that is in-store with LiveGaelic.com.
